God’s words are life-giving words. They are full of the Spirit of God and full of the very life of God Himself. When I’m praying for healing for people on our television programs or through the written prayers on our website, I always use the Holy Scriptures on healing because those words are the source of all our healing.
I use Scripture words such as “by His wounds you have been healed” (I Peter 2:24); “He took our infirmities and bore away our diseases” (Matthew 8:17b); and “Surely He has borne our sickness, weakness and distress and has carried our sorrows and pains” (Isaiah 53:4a). These are the very life-giving and healing-producing words of God.
Often on our more recent television broadcasts you will see a Scripture from John’s gospel printed out on the television screen just before the message airs. The verse is from John 6:63 and it says, “…the words that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.” The Scripture words that I pray for you are full of the Spirit of God and full of His life. God’s Spirit and God’s life will come into you as you are hearing them.
These Scripture-based prayers produce life and health and healing when we pray them and apply them to our bodies and minds. These words produce health and healing because that is what God designed them to do.
In Isaiah 55:11 the prophet writes, “So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void (without producing any effect), but it (the Word) shall accomplish that which I please and it shall prosper in the thing (healing) for which I sent it.” God’s intention for His healing words is that they will heal us.
Psalm 107:20 says, “He sends forth His word and heals them and delivers them from all their destructions.” God has sent forth all these healing Scriptures to each one of us. When I send forth these healing words to you through the televised programs and through the printed prayers on our website, then healing will come to you because that is the result God intends from the healing Scriptures.
You, dear one, can also send the healing and life-giving power of God into yourself by speaking these healing Scriptures to your own body wherever you need His healing. You don’t need a healing minister to do this for you because the healing power of God flows out from His healing Scriptures.
Our website has on it a number of healing prayers that you can say aloud on your own behalf or on behalf of someone in your family. Just look under the section on healing prayers on our website. These prayers will bring health and healing as you are speaking them aloud because they contain the very life of God Himself.
May I suggest speaking the healing words of God into your own body or into someone else’s mind and body several times a day. You can’t overdose on God’s healing word.
